When you participate in the Career Intelligence Study, we collect your survey responses (answers to 30 behavioral questions), your age, your college and major (if provided), and your email address (if you choose to provide it to receive results). We do not collect your name, address, phone number, or any government-issued identification.
Your anonymous responses are used solely to train and improve PathFinder's career guidance model — a system designed to help high school students identify career paths that align with their behavioral profiles. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your data to third parties under any circumstances.
Providing your email address is entirely optional. If you provide it, we use it only to send you a copy of your Career Intelligence Profile. Your email address is never linked to your survey responses in our data systems, and is never shared with third parties.
Survey responses are stored without names or other direct identifiers. Age, college, and major are collected as demographic context to improve model accuracy but are not used to identify individual participants.
Survey responses are stored securely using Supabase, a SOC 2 compliant cloud database provider. Email delivery is handled via EmailJS. We do not store payment information of any kind.
You may request deletion of any data associated with your email address by contacting us at pathfinder.companyinfo@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Participants in the European Union have additional rights under GDPR including the right to access, rectify, and port their data.
This study is intended for participants 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. If we become aware that a participant is under 18, we will delete their data promptly.
